Disclosure Policy

Hello! Sprinkles of Sand is committed to building a relationship based on trust with our audience. We are a lifestyle blog with the purpose of finding balance by celebrating life’s little pleasures as well as through natural living.

In our efforts to share these things with you, we use affiliate links to recommend products or services that we think you may find helpful or pleasurable. In one example, as part of our book reviews, we will give you a link to places where you can purchase the book or books if you are interested.

We would like to make it clear that if you decide to purchase things through an affiliate from our site, we will receive monetary compensation from that company.

At this time, we are primarily using Amazon Affiliates. We have both shopped on Amazon for many years and have a high level of comfort with them in our private lives. We trust them enough to use them on our blog to link to products that we think you may be interested in. We do use other affiliates as well and intend to add more. Again, we put a lot of thought into who we do business with and only do so with companies we believe we can trust.

We also have advertising on our site. We receive monetary compensation from them as well. They help to offset the costs of running the blog (there are quite a few).

As much as we would like to make a little money from the site, we want the focus to remain the relationship we develop with our audience and not the dollars and cents. So, if you have a bad experience with any of the affiliates or advertisers that we are using, please let us know.

We look forward to a long relationship with you and wanted to make sure that our intentions are clear.

If you are interested, here is a link to the Federal Trade Commission’s rules for advertisers and bloggers.
